Born in 1972 in Sittard, Marcus Debie, aka Gomad, is a colorblind Dutch urban artist who still lives and works in his hometown. A pioneer of graffiti in the southern Netherlands, he rose to prominence in the 1980s, influenced by Beat Street And Style Wars. After 25 years as a graphic designer, he devoted himself entirely to his art, creating murals and exhibitions across Europe. His style, described as post-neo graffiti fuses realism and surrealism in powerful compositions that blend cubist and organic forms. Using oil paint, acrylics, and spray paint, he creates a vibrant universe where imagination and technical mastery meet.
